First sunday of the month of august is well known as friendship day . Enchanting the western culture with mixture of Indian spices makes the day perfect.This special day is celebrated to honor the valuable relationship of a friend which may or may not have value in eyes of people being over pathetic in life. Taking our friendship to new heights , although every day is like a friendship day. Being lucky to have noble friends makes me feel prestigious .Though we celebrate every day as a friendship day , yet a special day is dedicated to this loving relationship.

Following the tradition of the west, youth in India too mark Friendship Day by participating in Friendship Day parties or organizing bashes for their friends. A large number of people gather and can be seen in discotheques and pubs where people dance with friends on fast pace music and enjoy the company of their friend. Such parties also give youth a chance to make new friends and widen their friendship circle ,such parties are moreover a mirror of western celebration. At present such bashes are more popular in metros and other big cities, however,in small town same parties are organised gathering at public places on Friendship Day.Small towns are also not a way back .They are also rushing towards the culture in metropolitan cities.
